Take the goat milk, for example. The goats are milked year-round and during the winter, when there are fewer market opportunities, they were looking for a shelf-stable product that would allow the milk to be fully utilized. Goat milk soap was the solution. They froze the milk and used herbs and botanicals from the farm to create soaps that extended the shelf-life of the milk while adding to the product lineup they could offer customers.
