Take a tour of Gunthorp Farms, the country's third-largest pastured poultry farm

Chris Eley has been working with Greg Gunthorp of Gunthorp Farms for 15 years. Greg is one of the few farmers in the country able to deliver fresh pastured poultry on a weekly basis, and that’s thanks to his on-location processing facility. 

It is highly unusual for a farm to also host a federally inspected processing plant — having this plant on site allows Greg to control everything, from the moment one of his pigs, chickens, ducks or turkeys is born through the harvesting process when that time comes. His animals never leave the farm or his care.
