I am endlessly inspired by the people I cover and strive to develop content that matches their passion. Their work is the backbone of the culinary industry. In tasteMAKERS, you will meet the people who define the flavor of American cuisine.

Seeking stories over the last 20 years has led me to discover and appreciate the risks these makers take and the determination required to follow their passion. I've seen first hand the positive impact experienced by those who work each day to create something that is unique and personal and, in tasteMAKERS, I am excited to share their stories with you. 

tasteMAKERS puts a spotlight on culinary industry  professionals whose work is defining the flavor of American food today. I invite you to come along with me on this journey as I explore the American maker movement. 

Career highlights:

  • Joined the team at Explore St. Louis in 2022 as Vice President of Communications to support the growth of travel and tourism in the St. Louis region.

  • Left Feast Magazine to become curator at Hermann Farm in 2021.

  • Launched Emmy-nominated tasteMAKERS on public television nationally in October, 2018.

  • Developed Feast TV, an Emmy-winning regional 1/2-hour program that ran for seven seasons.

  • Expanded Feast to a regional publication with distribution of 150,000 across Missouri, eastern Kansas and southern Illinois.

  • Launched Feast Magazine in 2010 as St. Louis-specific culinary publication.

  • Sold ownership of Sauce in 2010 with a circulation of 80,000.

  • Launched Sauce Magazine in 1999 as a website, expanded to print in 2001.
