RALEIGH-DURHAM FOOD LOVERS JOINED US FOR AN IMMERSIVE TASTE OF North Carolina. HONEY, BEER, CHEESE, CAVIAR AND MANY MORE FLAVORS WERE EXPLORED FROM THE RALEIGH-DURHAM AREA.

On Saturday, October 5th, we hosted a private event for our sponsor, Edward Jones, at Cane Creek Farm, with a reception catered by Ross Flynn and his new restaurant, Alimentari @ Left Bank to meet the makers we profiled in our Left Bank Butchery episode. Ross spoke with us about Left Bank Butchery, and working with Eliza MacLean and her pig farm. Eliza gave us a tour of her farm, showing off the chickens, pigs, cats, and other farm animals that live on the property. Beverages were provided by Haw River Farmhouse Ales.

The main event, Meet the Makers: Raleigh-Durham was on Sunday, October 6th at The Fairview. The live show featured interviews with Ross Flynn of Left Bank Butchery, Eliza McLean of Cane Creek Farm, and Charles Synder of Braeburn Farm with clips from the Left Bank Butchery episode.

A tasting experience and a Makers Market will follow the show, featuring food and drink from Raleigh-Durham makers and chefs, including:
